Student Success Statement

Choose The Right!!!

Student Success Statement
“Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anybody else expects of you. Never excuse yourself.”
Henry Ward Beecher

What henry means is that you hold yourself responsible for the things you set for yourself. There is no excuse if you don’t complete because you set it for yourself and you didn't complete it. If someone expects something from you then you must achieve higher than that.

“Goal setting is goal getting. Set and get.”
    Mark Victor Hansen
What Mark is saying is that when you set your goal you’re going to have to succeed in them because that I what you set for yourself. Once you have them set get ready to go and make them come true because they’re there for you. Everyone achieves a goal because they got it set and went to go and get it.

Operating Room Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating room technicians are either called a surgical technician or a surgical technologist. They prepare rooms for surgeries. They are also responsible for having surgical instruments, sterile bandages and linens, fluids, and other equipment ready for the operation. They could also assist the doctors in surgeries when they need an instrument and for counting sponges/ needles before and after operations. They deliver specimens to hospital laboratories for analysis. After an operation they take the patient to a recovery room.
Salary: $16,000-$22,000
Educational Requirements:
Technically a high school diploma or GED satisfies the qualifications for a candidate to enter the necessary training programs and become an ORT. However, earning an associate’s or bachelor’s degree usually makes an operating room technician more desirable to employers, not to mention better positioned for opportunities that come along over the years. Whether the prospective technicians major in a science or not, all types of laboratory courses are appropriate.

Reflection: I Would not like to be a Operating Room Technician because it's salary is low. Also I dont like what they do at all their job sounds well... not interesting.
