The Sting of The Scorpion 

There was a boy with his parents in a hot desert camping and he wanted to explore what was in the desert, so one morning when they woke up they left to explore. His parents had told him to wear shoes ( covered shoes) so he got up and for his laziness he used flip flop, mean while exploring he got stung by a scorpion. this kid didn't choose the right and the consequence was he got stung by a scorpion feeling the pain through his leg this was for him not listen to his parents.

I think the quote means that if you're doing something that doesn't feel right you probably shouldn't do it cause if it doesn't feel right it most likely will end up being wrong. So if it doesn't feel right make sure to re-check if it is or isn't.   
Cytotechnologist
(Cytology)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cytology is the study of human body cells. Cytotechnologists are specially trained clinical technologists who study human body cells. They examine cells to identify changes that may indicate diseases like cancer.
Their duties include preparing microscope slides of cell samples, examining cell samples using microscopes, identifying abnormalities in shape, size, or color, using other automated lab equipment to perform tests, and analyzing report test results to physicians.
Cytotechnologists usually work in hospitals, clinics, or private laboratories. They also work in universities or for other researchers.
Average Salary: $30,000 - $50,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.
Almost all cytotechnologists earn bachelor’s degrees in medical or clinical technology programs that include a year-long clinical internship in the field.

I think she is trying to say that you are in control in your life not anyone else, so don't let anyone change who you are because everyone is their own person and no one should be able to change who that person is. If someone were to tell you that you need to change the way you are you wouldn't do it because that isn't what you want.
 
Rehabilitation or Mental Health Counselors
Duties and Responsibilities:
Rehabilitation or mental health counselors work with mentally, emotionally, and physically disabled. It is their job to help patients develop more faith in themselves. They work with patients to help them become self-sufficient and productive. Counselors often work closely with their patients’ doctors and family. Counselors may work in private practice, for schools, industry, or in hospital or residential health care settings. Counselors often:
·                             Work with patients who abuse alcohol or are addicted to drugs.
·                             Interview and observe patients to determine problem areas.
·                             Conduct personality, aptitude, achievement, and psychological test.
·                             Help patients find and keep jobs.
Average Salary: $25,000 - $45,000
Educational Requirements:
Students interested in becoming counselors should take a challenging high school curriculum.
A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or sociology is the minimum requirement for low level counseling jobs, but a master’s degree is required for most. To become licensed by a state, counselors must pass written and oral examinations and work for about two years in a supervised clinical setting.

Duties and responsibilities:
Health information specialist obtains, post, and analyzes medical, workload, finance, and insurance data. They ensure that this information is properly recorded into medical records so practitioners can plan and evaluate health care provide to patients.
There are a variety of job specialties within this field including Registered Record Administration, Accredited Record Technicians, and certified Coding Specialist. Administrators coordinate the various information management responsibilities and supervise record technicians and coding specialist. Record technicians ensure medical records are accurate, coordinate reimbursement, and maintain disease registries for research. Coding specialist assign and post correct diagnosis and procedure codes to records and repost codes to insurance companies.

Clinical technologists perform more complex laboratory tests and procedures than technicians. They also supervise technicians. They also supervise technicians, confirm their tests, and manage laboratory quality control programs.

 Most clinical laboratory specialists work in hospitals, but they are also employed by private practices, medical groups, research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, and universities.

 Average Salary:

$20,000-$28,000 (Clinical Laboratory Technicians)

$25,000-$40-000 (Clinical Technologists)  

 Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.

 An associate’s degree in the field or completion of a specialized in-house training program  is required to become a clinical laboratory technician.

 A bachelor’s degree in the field is normally required to become a clinical technologist; however some employers accept an associate’s degree and extensive clinical experience as a substitute. Many technologists pursue additional graduate education or specialized training to advance their careers in clinical chemistry, blood banking and microbiology.

Clinical laboratory specialists include both clinical technologists. These professions are also referred to as medical laboratory technicians or medical technologists.
Both technicians and technologists perform laboratory work to identify, diagnose, and treat diseases.
Clinical laboratory technicians use microscopes, laboratory equipment, chemicals and computers to perform laboratory procedures. They also collect blood specimens and prepare culture media. They conduct tests and prepare reports for clinical technologists or physicians.

Chiropractors treat patients by manually adjusting parts of the human body, especially the spine.
Chiropractors and their patients believe that problems with bone and nerve alignment can cause illness and problems in other parts of the body, a view not widely accepted by allopathic physicians and other traditional medical practitioners.

                Reflection: Diana Nyad is headlines everywhere she never gave up she pursued her dreams from going to Cuba to Florida. It took her 53 hours to reach her destination she never stopped, she always continued her goal. She didn't take drugs she used her hard effort. If she who was over 60 years of age reached an impossible goal why cant you? 

Biomedical Equipment Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Biomedical equipment technicians inspect, maintain, and repair different types of medical equipment diagnose and treat diseases. They perform safety checks and train practitioners to safely operate equipment. Biomedical equipment technology has been one of the fastest growing medical career fields in recent years.
 Average Salary: $20,000 - $38,000
Educational Requirements: 
 Students should take challenging science, math, and electronics courses in high school.
Following high school, biomedical equipment technicians complete one to three years of course work in biomedical equipment technology, medical electronics, or biomedical engineering. Most programs lead to certification and/or associate degrees. Some employers will hire electronics technicians and provide on the job biomedical technology training.
